We offer several ways for our adults to spend time in God’s word and fellowship
with others. We have Christian Education classes and a Bible study with Pastor Drew.

The NEMC Adult Sunday School class has been meeting regularly for at least ten years. We have on average, 20 faithful attendees, ranging in age from mid 30’s to early 80’s. Even Covid did not put a dent in our meeting together…either we met outside, weather permitting, or socially distanced and masked inside. Over the years we have studied a large range of topics from books of the Bible to Fruits of the Spirit, Angels, the Cross, John Wesley’s Christianity and little known disciples of Jesus, to name a few. We have participated in Lenten and Advent studies and we have practiced hospitality by just enjoying breakfast together during Christmas. At one point we sponsored a child through World Vision. We have become a little family within the family at NEUMC, and we pray for individual needs and for the church as a whole and we welcome anyone to join us.

Our group on Wednesday mornings study a wide-range of materials including The Chosen, Max Lucado’s Just Like Jesus, John Wesley’s
Three Simple Rules, Studies on The Lord’s Prayer & The Apostle’s Creed, and Billy Graham’s The Holy Spirit. Beginning in March, we will be studying
Max Lucado’s new book on Esther, You Were Made For This Moment.
